The Mandalorian

Once again I’m late to the party.

Being the STAR WARS fan that I am, it wasn’t like I didn’t want to see The Mandalorian. I did. But much like my situation with Star Trek: Discovery, I didn’t want to see it enough to pay for a monthly subscription. But Verizon once again came through, and with a free one-year subscription, it’s giving me the opportunity to catch up.

I’m only five episodes in, but it’s ticking all the boxes and OH. MY. GOD. This is what the last six Star Wars movies should have been. Now I understand why people have been raving about it.

Sleep, Beautiful Sleep

Has anyone else noticed that as a society, we’re shamed for wanting to sleep? Sleeping in is bad, naps are only okay if they’re 20 minutes, you cant be tired unless you’re a <insert career/lifestyle choice here>, so on and so forth.

I mean, I think we all need to spread our blankets out, cuddle a pillow, and go to sleep. Everyone needs more of it, fuck this “it’s not productive” nonsense. It’s okay to sleep, it’s okay to want to sleep. You’re not lazy because of it.

Ooh Girl!

Wait for it…

Now to be honest, I do respect David and what he’s doing with his training videos. I’ve watched most of them and he really knows his shit. (He actually showed me how to organize my photo library into something useful.) But Ben and I were both watching this video last night and and I said, “Wait, that’s not heart medication! Isn’t that….?” and then we both immediately blurted out, “Ooh Girl!”
