And Here I Thought It was only Jobs Who'd Taken LSD…

"There's nothing to keep Apple out of the Android market as a secondary phone market. We could compete very well. People like the precious looks of stylings and manufacturing that we do in our product compared to the other Android offerings. We could play in two arenas at the same time." ~ Steve Wozniak, obviously tripping on something

  1. If they were talking about making versions of their applications for Android that could sync with their ecosystem then they might have a point. It sounds like they want to make a dumbed down version of their phone for a 'cheaper' market, and if they try to do that they're just going to fall flat because of their reasoning that Android is a 'cheaper' market. People aren't getting Android because they can't afford Apple. They're getting it because they want an alternative that suits their needs and desires. I, for example, don't think or process things the same way everyone I know who likes Apple products do. There's nothing inheriently wrong with that; I just think differently. That's a sale that Apple is never going to get, and hopefully they realize that. Or they can die trying. *shrug*
