It appears that while YouTube still allows embedding of their videos on other websites, you can't actually watch them there any more. (At least that's been my experience both here on VoenixRising as well as on numerous other blogs. If it's justĀ me drop a comment and let me know if you're having the same issue.)
The workaround seems to be clicking on theĀ Watch on YouTube link that will take you directly to the video's YouTube page.
I've found that I must turn OFF my VPN whenever I want to play a Youtube Video on say, The N.Y. Times or The Guardian. Your video the other day featureing Bill Mumy as 'Anthony', is another example.
As for me I got tired of using the embedding functionality, as sometimes the video can be removed from YouTube, or the link changed. I now download it from YT (or elsewhere) and upload it on the blog.
I do that oftentimes myself unless the video is so horrendously huge it's impractical for me to host myself.
I have not experienced that. Perhaps I should add "Yet".
It turns out it's triggered when you use a VPN.
