The newest member of our family.
Sammy only left us six months ago, so this was a little sooner than we had planned, but this girl literally fell into our laps and it was love at first sight. Â Frankly I think Sammy had a hand in sending her our way; it was like, “Stop mourning me and get on with your lives! I’m fine and we’ll see each other again. Here’s a new friend for you!”
She’s terrific!
Sophie making a splash online! I’m curious about the photo of her between the two of you. The Red and White ‘Collar’ she’s wearing immediately reminded me (somehow) of ‘Bob’s Big Boy’ Restaurants around S. California in the late 60’s.
It’s her harness. Not the ultimate one we’ll get her, but a quick stop at Petsmart on the way home since she only had a collar and leash.

Our three successive dogs all found us in mysterious and different ways. Funny how that works. We lost Bennie in August 2021 and we haven’t adopted (yet)….for so many reasons. Wishing you many happy years with Sophie.
