I have never, and will never, OWN a Gun. And yet my opinions on the 2nd Amendment have never waivered. This, in spite of being Held-Up at Gunpoint, inside my business on Larkin Street in San Francisco back in 1981. It was one foot away and pointed directly at my face, and then after I handed them all the money I had, made me lay on the floor face down. (Those terrible seconds when I couldn’t see them and I expected a bullet to the head while on the floor has never left me). The Two Teens involved were never found. And I knew weapons from my time in The Army, several years before my hold-up. I (earned) ‘Expert’ in Handguns, M-16 Rifle, and Machine Gun. And I STILL do not want to own a Firearm.
