I never saw it in a theater, but must’ve caught it on television when I was in my early teens and it scared the bejeebus out of me.

This video was extraordinarily entertaining! Thanks for posting it. You may want to try to snag a Blu-ray from Criterion of this film, it’s currently Out of Print, but is lurking around out there. The suppliments on the Criterion version are truly immersive. In them you’ll find out how the superbly talented Cinematographer William A. Fraker, shot that memorable image of Ruth Gordon (viewed through a peephole) by Rosemary, through the door.
