I am old now. And the cherished dreams I have of the wonderful times before now, are growing fainter and fainter. But I will hold on to them until my last breath because of the comfort and soothing they offer me. It’s funny, I’d no idea (then), that those were the very best eras I would reflect back upon. I am fortunate.
It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. But I shall forever look back upon them with fondness.
