My memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be, (and even then). However I recall the shootings at Kent State and how the country was divided afterwards, with even some Democrats siding with The Right, against those that were shot dead. The general feelings from all parts of America now are vastly different; perhaps a ‘tipping point’ has, (sadly), been reached? What happens in the next weeks and months will be telling.
