Ahhh, the Thompson Twins…
They remain one of my favourite groups of the 80's and early 90's.
When I was 16, they came to Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens on New Year's Eve with New Regime (a Canadian band that didn't really break into any market), and OMD (!!). My friend's dad had a friend that worked at MLG so we got great seats…6th row floors! I was CERTAIN Alannah Currie smiled at me as I waved frantically at her. It was a crazy amazing show.
A couple of Dr Who photos would have gone nicely with this song.
