Well, it's official.
I received this little gem from my supervisor yesterday, to be filled out "by the end of the week."
As I mentioned a while back, our new department boss has a hard-on for training and professional development.
Not once in my long and illustrious career has any sort of this bullshit training benefitted me in any way.
I'm really fighting the urge under Description of Career Goals to write, "RETIREMENT."
IMO it would only seem natural that you send the form back with the sole comment "to be filled by my supervisor"
Consider yourself lucky. It's a short form. I've had some nightmare forms to fill out not to mention staff "retreats" "trainings" and organizational vision quests aka "strategic planning" and endless forms for goals, objectives, evaluations, etc. etc. Hubby works for Fed Gov and has yearly evaluation forms that are pages long.
I get those too at Home Depot. I just fill in a lot of shit.
