This is funny because I always used to give my dad a hard time about his monochromatic wardrobe, but if you look in my closet now, you’ll encounter a sea of black polos. They have a ton of different logos, but they’re all still black…

And yes, I do have a rainbow of other polos as well; it’s just I have way more black ones than anything else.

Clearly.

Manscent seems to turn off women but seems to bone up other men. Why would nature make it so? It’s no perversion; the universe clearly intends men to have sex with other men.

Las Noches De Las Luminarias

Otherwise known as, “Date Night!”

Las Noches De Las Luminarias is something the Desert Botanical Garden does every year, although Ben and I hadn’t been since 2009. This year we decided to eschew exchanging gifts (we both have everything we want or need materially at the moment), but decided to make Luminarias a shared gift. (We’re also returning in March to capture the ongoing Chihuly exhibition at “golden hour.”)

I just got a new phone, and figured this would be an excellent opportunity to put its camera to the test. It didn’t disappoint.
