“Classic” isn’t even lofty enough to describe this album, it’s a masterpiece!! My brother played it constantly in 1973-74 and now, decades later, I still love it! That opening cut is glorious!! I have the anniversary CD for that album and the quality is awesome! Interesting trivia: porn star Linda Lovelace introduced Elton John to the massive crowds at the concert where he debuted songs from this album in 1973!!
