Mark, there is a segment of young YouTube presenters who listen to music from our lifetimes and react/critique what they may be hearing for the first time. Most know very little of the artists to whom we listened back then. Last night for me it was Annie Lennox and songs from her Diva cd. One cutie I watch is Saeed Reacts and it’s encouraging that young people are going back in time to appreciate the great artists in contemporary musical history. The reactions of a Jewish couple and some Black presenters to Streisand’s recordings is amazing.
