I’ve been seeing a lymphedema therapist since late last year to address the ongoing swelling since my surgery last Septembefr. What is the therapy? It can be best described as a deep head and neck massage. I know that sounds kind of flippant, but the therapy does work, and it’s an hour once a week when I can just disconnect from the world.

I have a new lymphedema massage machine from tactile medical. You should see if it’s an option for you. It does head, neck and chest massage for lymphatic drainage. You wear it once daily for 32 minutes unless otherwise recommended. I highly recommend trying to get this machine.
Already have it and use it, but probably not as often as I should. 😉
And Ben can tell when I’ve been slacking. “You’re very hard to understand right now. When did you last use your machine?”
I am happy for you. We have to get you ready for the holidays. And will it puree is not an option.
Flippant? You?? I am not new here. I know what you post. Flippancy is part of your personality. Come sit by me.
Not flippant at all – addressing tissue limitations is key to recovery, in any physical recovery.
Neck massage can be an incredibly relaxing and releasing of pain and discomfort…hang in there.
I’m glad that works for you!
