  1. I watched the film only 2 nights ago. You know how you will notice things you hadn’t noticed before in a film after countless viewing? I noticed that Cinematographer Geoffrey Unsworth (who definitely should have received an Oscar Nomination for this film), had as his assistant, Cinematographer John Alcott. Alcott would be Kubrick’s ‘go to’ D.P. on his next film, ‘A Clockwork Orange’, and others, and winning his own Oscar for ‘Barry Lyndon’ in 1975. ‘Barry Lyndon’ is a film I hope might someday be refferenced here on Voenixrising, if the moment should merit it.

    1. I Barry Lyndon when it originally came out. I suppose I ought to give it a another viewing with eyes and sensibilities that now have 50 years of life experience behind them because at the time I found it tedious.

  2. Amazing how well this movie has stood the test of time. Its vision of the future still looks realistic and believable. And Keir Dullear is a treat for the eyes.
