So…the blisters have all disappeared and we’re well into the healing phase. I still have dozens—if not a hundred or more—red patches of varying size where the blisters used to be. But at least they’re healed over and do seem to fade over time.
Unfortunately at times—like today—I’m still itchy as fuck, so obviously I’m not over this completely just yet. I’m off the prednisone tomorrow so it will be interesting to see over the next few days if the blisters return. If so, it’s gonna be an emergency trip to the dermatologist to get another three week dose. I’m hoping that won’t be the case, and that the healing is more from the weekly Duplixent injections and the fact it’s been six months since my last Keytruda infusion (the outside estimate of how long it stays in your system) and not solely from the prednisone.
