You’re a bad man. You’re a very bad man!

Irreverent, independent, and often snarky partnered married gay boomer and doggie dad who is tired of moral pontification by hypocritical conservative assholes and hate filled religious bigots.
This blog is NSFW and intended for adults only.

It may contain unapologetically liberal diatribes and photos of naked men, either alone or together, doing things that may cause inexplicable erections among certain sanctimonious anti-gay Republican congressmen. In addition to my personal photography, images displayed here have been pulled from the internet.

Back in the good old days when Lake Harriman (AKA “the Ledges”) in Wilmington, Vermont had a large nude swimming area, half of which was frequented by gay men. Cars would be parked a half mile along the access road and one had bette be there by 9am to get a spot. But the naked guy on the boat reminded me about guy in our “community” who had a good size cabin cruiser and we would go for naked rides on the lake. Some folks would go naked water skiing. And I won’t even mention the cruising paths through the woods. Hubby and I had a spot on the rocky shore that we “landscaped” and claimed the patch of real estate almost every summer weekend, unless we were at Moonstone in Rhode Island or Hillside Camp in Pennsylvania.
How this was all OK, I never knew, except that Vermont has no state law outlawing nudity. See this article about Brattleboro, VT: (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-vermont-nude/vermont-town-bans-public-nudity-after-brash-displays-idUSN1823185120070718)
But then some area homeowners began encroaching on our privacy (they said it was the other way around because some guy got lost off the cruising trails) and passed an ordinance. Lots of back and forth, but, bottom line, the place still has a very “tame” nude swimming area but one tenth the crowd. You brought back some great memories of a life that is gone forever!
