I haven’t thought about, nor heard this music in decades – until today. I remember buying this as a set of discs (in a long box?) at Tower Records in Seattle in the early 90’s. Sadly like too many other posessions of mine, lost in relocations; this one to New York City. But I only had the music, thanks Mark for posting this Video which is incredibly DAZZLING incorporating Glass’s Music in the actual production!
I prefer the original recording (it was a box set, not a long box) that I also have in my collection, but the live Met performance ain’t bad!
