We got oat meal (okay with raisins and some cinnamon, and brown sugar sometimes), cream of wheat (Yuck! under any circumstances), and for the Sunday evenings, “no, Mom is not going to cook!” there was Life cereal. The sugar-loaded cereals didn’t make their way into the cart, no matter how much pleading went on in the store… 😒
