As a (very…) long-time reader, I've never commented on any post (but read ALL since a few years, I swear!). This really piqued my curiosity, so I wildly googled "horror film buck monster burning house"… et voilà: "The Ritual", a 2017 Netflix horror flic. Reviews are mixed – but that scene alone makes me want to watch it for the mere horror of it. Love the monster design – looks like Sven the Frozen Reindeer got bitten by a rabid hornet =)
