Based on some recent incidents, let me reiterate: If you are the owner of a photo that appears on this site and wish it removed, you don't need to get all legal and send threatening letters and takedown notices; just email me with the photo's URL or leave a comment on the offending post and I will gladly remove it.

One way to fix that. Elect people who care about the well-being of all the people they represent not just the corporations.
Also the math there is completely wrong. It is assuming that that high schooler is working 40 hours a week. Shit it's assuming any fast food worker works 40 hours a week. Most work less than 30 so the employer doesn't have to pay health insurance. It's memes like this that hurt everyone, it spreads a false narrative that all minimum wage workers work 40 hours a week when that almost never happens.
Should SS payments be higher, hell yes. And the only way to do that is to protect the money that goes into the SS coffers do it can't be touched for other things.
