As for #2: eating the riches obviously seems a useful thing to do. But our whole History here – I’m thinking of the French Revolution and the many regimes that came forth – tells me the the actual problem never lies on whatever next system can be put in place, more on those who inevitably will run it: Humans 🙁
A homeless guy being interviewed on PBS was about to get his own apartment and he was all excited: “My own toilet,” he exclaimed. But something went awry – some previous arrest for a small amount of drugs – and he was denied housing. This is unconscionable. And yet…living here in the boonies, we occasionally turn to Amazon for convenience.
