Texas Chile Protective Services is in deep trouble with a Judge who has been monitoring their activities. For the better part of the last 19 years, it seems. It was revealed that many childern under their watchfull eye were sleeping in the CPS offices as there was no place for them to stay. Then, after bouncing from one family to another, they “age-out” and are on the street to fend for themselves. NONE of this is really good! Not to forget the attrition rate of case workers, either. TX is more screwed-up than anybody might ever suspect.
