My company is fairly small, and my “IT” duties are just an added layer of fun I have on top of my actual job. But honestly, how is it that 95% of the public is seemingly incapable of deductive reasoning skills? How is it that if their computer (or the copier, or the fax machine, or you name it, they don’t stop, think, and ponder solutions before crying my name to help them?
And then, the machine turns out to be unplugged. Or off. Or something almost as obvious. I don’t know how you take dealing with all of that as a primary job (but I’d like to ask you questions about my print spooler and peer-to-peer network!).
