  1. Sorry, the “Big Barn of Living” aka Great Room, leaves me cold. I prefer differentiated spaces with privacy and acoustic separation.

    I blew up the floor plan, and it looks like two homes in one.

    I was viewing a post a while back about a family that had either her parents or his living under the same roof. In touring the home, there was a door that led into the grandparents’ “apartment.” The door could be locked on either side. The living quarters weren’t small or large. Just comfortable. The floor plan has one such door. Also look at the wall the seprates the two living quarters. The wall looks substantial. For fire and noise control.

  3. They have 2 Porsches parked in the garage, a principal bedroom, a primary suite, and 2 living rooms. Edging towards “it’s good to be the king,” but it could actually be designed for an extended family with some room to get out of each other’s faces.
