If I close my eyes I can almost believe it’s 1979 again. Of course, if it were 1979 and 10:30 pm on a Saturday night I would have probably already been at Bullwinkle, dancing and looking for love in all the wrong places.

In 1979, Donna Summer was my ultimate goddess and her Bad Girls album dominated that year. I remember getting this GH album for Christmas of that year and being just as excited as I was when I received her Live And More double album for Christmas in 1978!! Great times!!
I consider her Once Upon A Time double-LP her masterpiece and I’ve waxed poetic about it more than once on this here blog thingie. I was expecting Bad Girls, her first studio album after OUAT to build upon that brilliance, yet at the time of its release I was sorely disappointed. Obviously the genius of it is obvious 47 years later and my opinion has changed, but at the time I was not impressed.
