…and there will be no one left on Earth who will know or care.
Alternately, if we somehow manage to survive as a species and develop FTL travel, we’ll no doubt go out, capture it, and return it to Earth to put in a museum.
In any case, I think I can confidently say it will long outlive the civilization that created it.
